The Euro is quite a strong currency and it can be a good currency to trade as a pair with the United States Dollar. The economies of many European countries rely on a strong euro currency. The ISO 4217 currency code for the euro is EUR. Another one of the most prevalent currency symbols that you should learn about is the Swiss Franc. The symbol for the franc is CHF. Switzerland is regarded as one of the most financially stable countries in the world and has a banking system to prove it. Investors who like stability tend to invest in the Swiss Franc. The ISO 4217 currency code for the Swiss franc is also CHF. Another one of the major currencies is the Japanese yen. The symbol for the yen is ¥. Japan is very stable financially and many traders like to get involved in this type of currency. During the Asian trading session, the yen is a very popular currency to trade.
